Efeitos dos exercícios físicos na qualidade de vida e saúde mental de indivíduos com síndrome pós-COVID-19: uma revisão sistemática

A síndrome pós-COVID-19 impacta negativamente a qualidade de vida e a saúde mental dos indivíduos acometidos, sendo necessárias medidas interventivas para a reabilitação dos mesmos. Dentro deste escopo, realizou-se uma revisão sistemática nas bases de dados Embase, MedLine (Pubmed), Cochrane, Web of Science, Scopus, PEDro, Scielo, Lilacs e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde - BVS, utilizando-se o descritor primário “Post-Acute COVID-19 Syndrome”, que foi cruzado com os descritores secundários “Quality of Life”, “Exercise” e “Mental Health”. Ao todo, foram incluídos cinco artigos (três ensaios clínicos randomizados e dois estudos não randomizados) que analisaram os dados de 218 sujeitos (97 homens e 121 mulheres, com médias de idades que variaram entre 42,4 e 60 anos). Os resultados demonstraram efeitos positivos do exercício físico na melhora da qualidade de vida e da saúde mental dos indivíduos acometidos pela síndrome pós-COVID-19. Todavia, estudos mais robustos devem ser explorados para definir os melhores protocolos de exercícios físicos para a reabilitação da síndrome pós-COVID-19.
