Avaliação preliminar dos parâmetros métricos e visuais em fêmeas bovinas de corte submetidas a IATF

O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar parâmetros métricos e visuais na seleção de matrizes, com o intuito de auxiliar no protocolo de Insemiação Artificial em Tempo Fixo (IATF) em vacas mestiças e Nelore PO. Para tal foram utilizadas 47 fêmeas, sendo 29 cruzadas (F1 – ANGUS x NELORE) e 22 fêmeas Nelore PO, clinicamente sadias. No dia D0 do protocolo de IATF, avaliou-se o escore de condição corporal empregando o dispositivo (VETSCORE®); o diâmetro do ovário e a presença ou não de estruturas no ovário (folículo dominante, corpo lúteo e características de anestro) por ultrassonografia transretal, por meio de transdutor linear com frequência de 5 MHz (SonoScape® A5 Vet). Todas as fêmeas foram submetidas ao mesmo protocolo de IATF. Para análise estatística foi aplicado o teste Two-way anova seguido pelo teste de Tukey e teste de contingência Qui-quadrado utilizando 5% de significância (p<0,05). Na relação do escore de condição corporal com diâmetro do folículo dominantes (D/FD) e diâmetro do folículo pré-ovulatório (D/FPO), observou-se que não há diferença entre as medidas dos folículos quanto aos grupos.
